Recycling Your Cooking Oil into Fuel!

Bring liquid vegetable cooking oil in a closed container to the Elmhurst Public Works Garage (985 S. Riverside Drive). Cooking oil sticks to sewer pipes, causing clogs and breaks that are costly for homeowners and cities to fix. It also interferes with water treatment at our sanitary facilities. 

Only vegetable-based, liquid cooking oil will be accepted. Containers will not be returned.  No motor oil or bacon grease.
