The Elmhurst History Museum presents an exhibit to explore the unique journeys of area immigrants and their descendants who have carved out a sense of cultural identity and belonging in this region. “In Pursuit of Happiness: Immigrants in Our Communities” will run through May 14, 2023 at the museum which is located at 120 E. Park Ave. in Elmhurst. The exhibit explores the personal stories and pursuits of immigrant residents and their families through first-person interviews, photographs, treasured objects and more to reveal the challenges, pride, perseverance, and humor in establishing a new life.
