Elmhurst police are investigating shots fired at a vehicle in the 300 Block of N. Elm.

On Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:30 a.m. a resident in the 400 Block of Emery saw a male, described as being medium build wearing dark clothing and a hood covering his head walking around a parked car in the driveway.  The suspect jumped into a waiting newer black BMW or Mercedes-Benz SUV and left the area.  The resident discovered his glovebox open and entered his car and began to follow the suspect. In the 300 block of Elm a passenger of the black SUV fired 5 shots at the victim's auto.  The suspect vehicle was last seen S/B on Elm.
