ELMHURST POLICE REPORT ZOEY HAS BEEN FOUND
On Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Elmhurst police detectives were contacted by a woman from Chicago who reported that she found a Terrier Shi Zu mix, female, wandering in the area of 13th Street & Kostner in Chicago a few days ago. The woman took care of the dog and did some research, discovering that the dog looked like a reported missing Terrier Shi Zu from Elmhurst last Tuesday. She promptly contacted Elmhurst police.
Elmhurst detectives responded to her Chicago home and were able to verify with a chip reader that the dog was in fact Zoey.
Zoey appeared to be in good shape and Elmhurst detectives returned Zoey to her owners home. The family was elated that their beloved Zoey was safely reunited with the family. We would like to thank Carolyn Foster for taking care of Zoey and helping to bring her home. A big thank you to the 11th District -Harrison District for their help and cooperation.
