NEW Covid-19 Event & Dining Restrictions Imposed 10/20/2020

Beginning on Friday, October 23, 2020 Elmhurst restaurants and bars will be under new Region 8 Restrictions that prohibits indoor dining at restaurants & bars until further notice. These restrictions include the following:

All bars and restaurants close at 11 p.m. 

No indoor dining service 

All bar and restaurant patrons should be seated at outdoor tables 

No ordering, seating or congregating at bars 

Tables should be six feet apart 

No dancing indoors 

Meetings, social events and gatherings (including weddings, funerals, potlucks, etc.) limited to 25 people or 25% of overall room capacity

Per the state’s COVID-19 framework, Region 8, consisting of DuPage and Kane Counties, falls into the criteria for mitigation because our region has experienced three consecutive days averaging greater than, or equal to, an 8% positivity rate. Restrictions are expected to remain in place for at least 14 days.
