City of Elmhurst COVID-19 Updates

The DuPage County Health Department COVID-19 dashboard, shows the number of lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in each municipality. There have been a total of 1,061 lab recorded cases of COVID-19 in Elmhurst as of 10/15/20. As cases continue to rise in the state, the Illinois Department of Health is closely monitoring these increases.

Elmhurst is located in Region 8. If a designated region shows an increase of cases with a subsequent decrease in hospital capacity or an 8% positivity rate for 3 consecutive days, the State will mandate additional restrictions and mitigation measures will be put into place.

Elmhurst Residents! Your community needs your support!

Please help to support your local community by acting responsibly to slow the spread of illness. Continue to follow healthcare professional advice to protect yourselves. Practice social distancing and wear a mask in public places. Wash your hands frequently and do not touch your face with unwashed hands.

Residents are urged to follow safety guidelines and protocols in place, to help minimize the spread of illness. Failure to do so will result in the implementation of additional State restrictions.
