Mayor Morley is accepting applications to fill the City’s 2nd Ward Aldermanic Seat. Alderman Norman Leader recently resigned from office due to a change in residency.
Mayor Morley stated, “Alderman Leader has been serving the residents of Elmhurst as 2nd Ward Alderman for 16 years. We are thankful for his dedication to our community and wish him the very best in his future.
With the advice and consent of the Elmhurst City Council, Mayor Morley will appoint a replacement to the 2nd Ward aldermanic seat. This person will serve as 2nd Ward Alderman until the April 2021 election.
