The City of Elmhurst is aware of a planned peaceful assembly today, June 13th from 1-3:30pm in Wilder Park. In the interests of all parties and for the safety of everyone involved during and after the assembly, the City will close several streets in the downtown area and around Wilder Park.

Out of an abundance of caution, this includes the closure of all parking garages in the City Centre downtown business district.  We expect this will be a peaceful gathering and respect the right for people to peaceably assemble.
