Police Investigating Residential Burglary in the 200 Block of Melrose

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at approximately 3:43 p.m., Elmhurst Police responded to a report of a residential burglary that occurred between 8:00 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. Police believe that the offender entered the house by breaking a side window and entering the home. Once inside, the offender removed collector coins and the cremated remains of a family member.
