The Union Pacific Railroad has closed the West Avenue railroad crossing, between First Street and Alexander Boulevard, in order to correct a rail defect at the crossing. The closure will be in place from 08:00AM on Tuesday, 10/29/19 through 12:00PM on 10/31/19. West Avenue vehicular traffic will be diverted eastbound onto First Street or Alexander and then onto Myrtle Avenue to cross the railroad tracks.  A detour route has been posted.
