Landscape improvements to the east side of Palmer Drive began the week of July 29th. The most noticeable difference is Rosetta Outcropping retaining walls that will replace the existing timber walls but also, the existing landscaping will be removed and replaced with new plants and ground cover to match the west side of the road. This work is being completed to help with erosion control of the slope along with updating and beautifying the area.
During the construction improvements, the east lane will be blocked to allow for a safe working environment and to stage the various materials required for the project. It is anticipated the project will be substantially completed by the end of September.
