Elmhurst Police Investigating an Aggravated Car Jacking in South Elmhurst

Elmhurst Police are investigating an Aggravated Car Jacking that occurred on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the 800 Block of Hillcrest in Elmhurst.  The victim, a thirty-year-old male from Woodridge reported that as he pulled up to his friends home on Hillcrest he was approached by a light skinned male/black, 6’00, 155lbs with a thin goatee, wearing a purple hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes. 

The offender displayed a silver handgun and demanded the victims car keys. The offender took the victims 2017 Cadillac Coupe and fled the scene.  The vehicle was subsequently located abandoned, approximately 30 minutes later in the area of I-290 & Lexington in Chicago.
