ONCC Chair, Mayor Arlene A. Juracek informed the City of Elmhurst that is has been appointed to the newly formed Fly Quiet Committee with the following message:

I am pleased to inform you that with the consent of the Executive Committee, I have selected the City of Elmhurst  and Wood Dale to serve on the newly formed Fly Quiet Committee.

The decision to retain the existing ad hoc committee members and add two new members was based on geographic proximity and committee experience. However, each year with the consent of the Executive Committee, I will review Fly Quiet membership to recommend retention or the selection of new members.

This newly formed Fly Quiet Committee represents the entire region and should strive to make fair and equitable decisions as it moves forward to investigate options for designated nighttime departure paths and recommends a Fly Quiet plan to be in effect after the OMP full build out.
