Elmhurst Police are investigating an incident that occurred at York Rd & Crestview Ave, in Elmhurst at 4:45 p.m. on February 27, 2018.

On Tuesday evening, Elmhurst police officers stopped a vehicle at York Rd & Crestview Ave. Before the traffic stop was completed, the suspect’s vehicle fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle was recovered in Chicago and the driver remains at large.

This incident is under investigation by the Elmhurst Police Department, The DuPage Major Crimes Task Force and the DuPage County States Attorney’s Office.
