The current weather forecast calls for the possibility of 2 to 4 inches of snow starting Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon.  Accumulating snow will require plowing and salting operations to maintain safe roadways.  The trucks used for these operations are large and have difficulty maneuvering on residential streets with parked cars.   Many residents may be hosting super bowl parties and should remind guests that parking is not permitted on City streets for eight hours following a snowfall of two inches or more.   Parked cars impede operations which result in slower response times and can create hazardous conditions.
