Elmhurst Police are investigating several Residential Burglaries that occurred in North Elmhurst on January 3, 2018, between the hours of 7:45 to 8:45 p.m.

On Wednesday evening, police responded to a residential burglar alarm in the 200 block of E. Elmhurst Ave. Responding officers discovered pry marks on the door and fresh footprints in the snow. Subsequent investigation revealed that two other homes in the area had been burglarized in the 200 Block of N. Larch and the 200 Block of N. Michigan.

Police remind residents to lock their doors at night, activate burglar alarms and use motion detector lighting if possible. Anyone with information or video of the area is asked to contact the Elmhurst Police Department at 630-530-3050 or by email at policeinfo@elmhurst.org .
