Elmhurst Police Charge Local Man with Child Pornography
Elmhurst Police have arrested and charged a 63 year old Elmhurst resident and school teacher from St. Charles East High School with Child Pornography. Elmhurst detectives were alerted to illegal activity from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) and specially trained detectives utilizing forensic internet and computer technology were utilized during the investigation.
Elmhurst Police Chief Michael Ruth said, “Our police are committed to protecting all of our residents, particularly our children, in the community and when they go online.”
The Elmhurst Police Department has had a specially equipped computer forensics lab since 2012.
