The Consolidated General Election was held on Tuesday, April 4 for the election of Municipal officials. The City of Elmhurst had Mayor, City Clerk and Treasurer, and seven seats of their City Council available for re-election. Most of the races within the City’s elected positions were uncontested; however, the sixth ward had an active race between Ronald Sebonia and Jim Kennedy.

- City of Elmhurst Treasurer: Elaine Libovicz
- City of Elmhurst Alderman Ward One: Martha “Marti” Deuter
- City of Elmhurst Alderman Ward Two: Norman Leader
- City of Elmhurst Alderman Ward Three: Michael J. Bram
- City of Elmhurst Alderman Ward Four: Kevin York
- City of Elmhurst Alderman Ward Five: Tina Park
- City of Elmhurst Alderman Ward Six: Jim Kennedy
- City of Elmhurst Alderman Ward Seven: Mike Brennan
New to the Elmhurst City Council are Tina Park, Ward Five, and Mike Brennan, Ward Seven.
Mayor, City Clerk and Treasurer, and Elmhurst Aldermen are 4-year term positions.
