Elmhurst Police are investigating a reported Attempted Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking that occurred in the 900 Block of S. Mitchell Ave., Elmhurst, IL on April 5, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. The victim was pulling into her garage when she noticed a male/black, 6’0, slim build, wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black face mask, holding a handgun pointed in her direction. The offender approached her car on the driver side and entered the garage.
