The City of Elmhurst is pleased to announce new additions to our safety forces with the hiring of two new firefighters and three new police officers. The officers were selected under the City of Elmhurst Board of Fire & Police Commissioners thorough examination and interview processes.
During swearing-in ceremonies on March 21st and March 24th respectively, Mayor Steve Morley welcomed firefighters Jace Weaver and Anthony Dames and police officers Raffaele DePinto, John Schmidt and Andrew Schroeder to the City of Elmhurst, and thanked them for their pledge to protect the community.
With the fulfillment of these positions, the City’s public safety forces continue to be strong while providing superior safety and emergency services. Quality and cost conscious public safety operations remain top priorities to City leaders.
