Broken Water Main on North Ave east of River Glen 12/13

Elmhurst, IL — A broken water main was reported this morning on North Ave just east of River Glen (west bound traffic).  City crews will be digging to repair it this afternoon. Due to the location of the break, crews will close one lane on North Avenue westbound between Shady Lane and River Glen. This work will most likely continue to take place during rush hour traffic. As soon as the repairs are made, city crews will open all lanes of traffic. Motorists should expect lengthy delays.
