For the 27th consecutive year, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to the City of Elmhurst by the Government Finance Officers Association on the United State and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
The City has received the Certificate for Excellence in Financial Reporting Award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the past 27 years, highlighting the user-friendly reporting of the City’s annual financial audit. In addition, the City has received the GFOA Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the last 10 consecutive years.
