The City of Elmhurst will be collecting mittens, socks, and gloves for DuPage County residents in need. Donations will be collected on a Christmas tree located in City Hall, December 1st through December 22nd.
The City is asking the community to help kids, teens and adults of all ages stay warm this winter by donating gloves, mittens and socks. Donations can be fastened to the Christmas tree located in the center foyer of City Hall. Clothespins can be found in baskets on the Fire Department Administration and Community Development counters.
The donated mittens, socks and gloves will be distributed by Yorkfield Food Pantry and the 1st United Methodist Church in Elmhurst.
