The Missing-Endangered Adult with Alzheimer’s has been safely located and has been reunited with her family. Chief Ruth and the members of the Elmhurst police department would like to thank everyone who shared the information, the facebook post, or assisted with the search.
We are fortunate to have such a caring community who is willing to come together to help others during times of need. We thank you!!!

Elmhurst Police are requesting the public’s help in locating a Missing-Endangered Adult.
Elmhurst Police are investigating the disappearance of a Missing-Endangered Adult with Alzheimer’s. The victim was last seen at 9:45 a.m. at her residence on the 200 block of S. Grace. She left her home in an unknown direction on foot. She does not drive or have access to a vehicle. She also does not have access to a cellular telephone or money.
The victim is identified as:
Linda Keiler, F/W, 66 years of age.
She is 5’7, 135 lbs., with medium-length gray hair.
She was last seen wearing a red and pink striped long-sleeve shirt, long khaki pants and flip flops. She has a medical bracelet with the name “Grandma Keiler” that identifies her as a dementia patient.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Linda Keiler is asked to contact the Elmhurst Police Department at 630-530-3050.
