Water Main Breaks: June 17, 2016

Elmhurst, Illinois - Elmhurst Public Works Crews performed scheduled maintenance on the north water main the evening of June 16th. Temporary measures were installed to control pressure functions in the system, however the City's water system experienced main breaks in 11 locations throughout the City. Public Works crews along with contractors are working to repair these breaks. Properties impacted by the water main breaks will result in water being temporarily shut off. These properties will be notified by a hand delivered notice from the City.
