All liquor managers, bartenders, and all bar or lounge area servers of alcoholic beverages employed by the licensee, are required to complete a State of Illinois certified alcohol awareness program, provided that only the manager of liquor sales need complete such alcohol program for restaurants having only a service bar. Certificates of completion need to be filed with the City Clerk’s office.

The City of Elmhurst Police Department hosts BASSET training at a reduced rate several times throughout the year. The next BASSET training class will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., in the police training room at the Elmhurst Police Department, 125 E. First St.
