Municipal Hotel Tax
The City of Elmhurst, pursuant to State statute, imposes a tax on the gross rental receipts of hotel operators. Upon the implementation of the tax, the City Council dedicated 50% of the funds to encourage tourism and additional commerce, as well as to enhance the cultural aspects of the City.
