Historic Preservation

The Historic Preservation Ordinance for the City of Elmhurst was adopted in 2006. The Historic Preservation Commission is an advisory Commission that functions to review potential landmarks, conduct surveys of areas with historical and architectural significance and provide information on the historic and architectural heritage of the City.
