New Business Update: Kimmer's Ice Cream Coming to Elmhurst

Kimmer's Ice Cream will expand their gourmet ice-cream business to Elmhurst in early 2018. The "brainchild" of ice-cream fanatic Kimberly Elam, Kimmer's offers guests flavors ranging from traditional favorites to creative taste sensations such as Aztec Hot Chocolate, Fairy Tale Cookie, or Sunday Breakfast. Every flavor is hand-crafted in small batches daily at their flagship creamery in St. Charles. Kimmer's hopes to open in February 2018 at the former home of Brain Freeze, 110 W. Park Ave.

New Business Update: Marco's Table Coming to Elmhurst

The economic development team is pleased to announce that Chef Marco Conte, formerly of Cafe Amano, will be bringing his talents back to Elmhurst. Chef Marco will be opening his new concept, Marco's Table (126 N. York St.) in early 2018. Marco's Table will host private dining experiences from Chef Table lunch/dinner parties to cooking lessons, as well as offer a full array of catering.

New Business Update: Rainbow Cafe

Update: The new Rainbow Cafe (254 N. York St) will open their doors on Wednesday, October 25th. The Rainbow Cafe is a family restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The new restaurant will offer traditional favorites alongside fresh organic, vegetarian, and gluten free options for customers of all ages. Located in the southern retail lobe of the Elmhurst 255 project, patrons of the Rainbow Cafe will have access to 150-public covered parking spots on site. Situated on the public plaza, look for Rainbow Cafe to also offer outdoor seating in warmer weather.
