UPDATE- Missing Special Needs Juvenile found safe

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 21, 2018 at 8:00 p.m.

Elmhurst Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Special Needs/Missing Juvenile from the area of 500 S. Hillcrest, Elmhurst, IL.

Missing is Brendan Daly, age 9, 4’10, 75 lbs with blond hair. Brendan was last seen wearing a blue coat, and gray sweatpants with black & gray gym shoes. He is believed to be riding a blue scooter and was last seen in the area of Vallette & Hillcrest in Elmhurst.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Elmhurst Police Department at 630-530-3050.

LATEST UPDATE: UPDATE ***GOOD NEWS*** The missing juvenile (Brendan) was located at 253 W. St. Charles Rd. Elmhurst police officers returned him safely to his home and family. He is in good shape. We have learned that a member of our community called 9-1-1 after receiving a CODE RED NOTIFICATION and seeing Brendan. The Elmhurst Police Department is grateful for the community response and assistance each of you have provided in sharing the information and looking for young Brendan.
